Gameboy Color:

Nachdem in Japan der GAMEBOY LIGHT neu herausgegeben worden war, entschied man sich scheinbar nach wenigen Monaten, jenen einzustellen und stattdessen den Gameboy mit farbigem Bildschirm unter der Bezeichnung GAMEBOY COLOR rauszubringen. Dass man das Licht wieder sein liess, war wohl wegen der höheren Produktionskosten.

Es macht schon Spass, den Gameboy color zu sammeln, schon weil es ihn in so vielen verschiedenen Farben und Aufmachungen weltweit gibt. Der einzige Konkurrent diesbezüglich ist wohl nur noch der Gameboy Advance SP. Letzteren zu sammeln, kommt auch wesentlich teurer, da er ja noch immer aktuell ist und natürlich auch besser spielbar wegen des super Bildschirms mit Licht. Aber das ist eine andere Sache, die später auf separater Seite folgt...
